United States' Secret War in Tibet

Every one of us should read this.

http://www.historynet.com/wars_conflicts/20_21_century/3025986.html?featured=y&c=y

The Tibet Myth

Here I quote

In November 2005 the Dalai Lama spoke at Stanford University on “The Heart of Nonviolence,” but stopped short of a blanket condemnation of all violence. Violent actions that are committed in order to reduce future suffering are not to be condemned, he said, citing World War II as an example of a worthy effort to protect democracy. What of the four years of carnage and mass destruction in Iraq, a war condemned by most of the world—even by a conservative pope--as a blatant violation of international law and a crime against humanity? The Dalai Lama was undecided: “The Iraq war—it’s too early to say, right or wrong.”53 Earlier he had voiced support for the U.S. military intervention against Yugoslavia and, later on, the U.S. military intervention into Afghanistan.

Tibetians attacked Chinese

Paid to create chaos

Pushed from first floor

And the United States, as the world leader, is supporting the people who always want a separation in Tibet but at the same time supporting the Zionist intruders?

A VERY BIG BULLY. What will you do if this happened to your country? I dont see anything wrong with tanks! To save your innocent civilians!

Asians are kiasu, but not many of us can be as good in glorifying two-facedness by tossing away the beauty and innocence of humanity.

I don't like the way China handled it, but I am not ferociously against her decision. I don't know if Tenzin Gyatso was behind the riots as claimed, or probably he didn't even expect how violent his people can be behind him.

We will see, who is (are) taking advantages upon Olympics to gain benefits, as time goes by.

After Election

It’s a solid feel of hopes oozing from the shift of paradigm and direction, from the alteration towards blissfulness and progressiveness, from changes from pacifying rodomontades to analytical revelations and rivalry confrontations. Everything now is teeming with hopes, hopes for changes and rejuvenations.

To the country, it’s a new dawn. And you know what?

Eh? How come.....

Source from http://www.spr.gov.my/, as of 4pm 10th of March

http://pru12.spr.gov.my/spr/laporan/5_KedudukanAkhir.php

Check for Kedah. There’s two N for Jerlun P. N “jumlah pemilih” numbers should (I think) add up to P number. But not in the case of Jerlun.

I checked other places kedah and they follow this rule.

But in this case, two Ns add up much more than the P. I cannot understand this. Some technical errors or something I misintepreted perhaps.

ps: and Jerlun P Peratusan Mengundi is a whopping 99.85%!

Malaysia's "Endangered" Majority

I like this analysis. I think it strikes the main reason why has BN performed poorly.

http://www.upiasiaonline.com/Politics/2008/03/10/malaysias_endangered_majority/8556/
The most conclusive paragraph I have read so far.

"Badawi is far more secular than his fiery predecessor Mahathir Mohammad, but lacks the will or the ability to bring the radical groups within his party in line with his moderate approach. Should he fail to make an effort to win the trust of the Chinese and Indian minorities by diluting Malay supremacist policies, both his party and his country will be entering a stormy period."

Dr M says...

What do you think led to this defeat?

Dr M: I think his son-in-law (Khairy Jamaluddin) played a big role. This young man who has no achievements before but apparently the PM listens to him more rather than the police, the special branch and the armed forces, who are closer to the ground. They were so taken up with their own newspaper reports that they couldn't hear anything else. They dismissed everything they didn't like.

Voted

Drawing near 30, I finally cast my virgin vote, in the classroom two rooms away from where I studied 11 years ago. Having faith with the constituition, I am planting my belief and hope for the country's better tomorrow.

Oh, that row of classes~~~

Classrooom 5 Science 3

No second thought

ps:
By the time I published this post, Malaysian has spoken. Oppositions grabbed 4 states, while maintain another one. Yes, we did not have prominent and powerful leaders that have the ability to suppress absurd racial "theories" among the young politicians, which is why then selfish human turned their votes to protect themselves, believing that plurality in the governments is better than an uncontrolled singularity.

To the oppositions, eradicating members and policies that carry any racial hues is the key, I truly believe.

Afterall, we, Malaysians, love peace.

We need more Gandhis, but there is another way if we do not have one

In this Friday chilly morning, in the office near Kampung Jawa, I forfeit my time from digging deep into the application notes on IQ measurement methods and make painstaking measurements to answer the question from a customer, I forfeit my chance not to be pursued by big bosses for the answers later today and I forfeit my gratification on an unforeseen surge of inner peace: to write about my sentiments as the greatly anticipated Olympic-year Malaysian election on 三八 women’s day is getting closer and scratchier.

Please understand me for being pro-Mahathir for I am from Jitra. Please understand me for being pro-Mahathir because I did not see so much chaotic moments when he was on the throne. Please understand me for being pro-Mahathir because he is a convicing figure that has the ability to bring us up while keeping the political climate under control.

I think, whether a country can be successful or not depends on whether they have the capability to churn out a smart and charismatic leader.

For a country that corruption is still poignant and lingering, a smart and charismatic leader has a different definition from a country that has transparent and checked leadership and mechanism. In this type of country, the leader has to fight gluttony and greed with certain amount of risk management against unsullied and noble aspiration to become a leader that has genuine love of its people and country. Too many times, olden times tell us that people are animals that tend to fail the battle inside out. Surrendering to hideous human nature and forgoing dirt-free political ambitions to feed and enrich their families and allies by taking benefits, whether forgiven by their own big heart or not, from other clans.

We do not have many Mahatma Gandhis in this world. In fact, we have many Mahatma Gandhi-wannabes that will hopelessly surrender to filthy notes at the eleventh hour before making their decisions. We have even more Suhartos. To find an uncontaminated jewel among the human clan in this world is probably one of the most difficult tasks.

An easier path is to have our own country’s running mechanism checked. At this point of time, it’s not about petrol price hike and blaming it. It’s not about how much they embezzled and how to take them to the court. It’s about how much you can do to help your own country.

I, listening to Annie Lennox's Big Sky in total tranquility, on this 29th of February, praying for the country's prosperity amid its complexity, understand that there is no way out other than PLURALITY.

Yee Keat got married

Big bird finally got married. To a pal that was willing to use up the other ticket of a pair of movie tickets I won (Friend won that in fact, and gave them to me) during my down time a couple of years ago, I reckon that, being the cameraman and constructing a blog for her big day is one diminutively insignificant yet happy small chore.

ps: The movie was 头文字D. To remind me, or us, one day, when was it.

On my way to the airport, snapped from inside the Limousine Bus.

Hachioji is a township to the west of Tokyo, around 100 minutes of train ride on the JR Chuo line. It's where one of the Agilent site is located.
Lake Ashi, Gora, Owakudani, Sounzan, Togendai, Hakonemachi and Motohakone are all in Hakone, a mountainous resort area with hot springs and view of Mt Fuji.
Roppongi is near to Tokyo, a place where you finally hear and understand English.

During the week of customer visits, I visited (I mean, passed by) places like the Yokosuka Research Park, Yokosuka Bay area, Higashimatsuyama, and many others small towns that dot the prefectures of the island country, and that I would never recall their names again in a week or two.

Ignoring what's in the past, whether you fit in or not, it's a big country with big people, big commitments, big scale of organization and mechanization, as well as a big belief and preparation in and for the future.

It's New Year again, 38 days after 1st of January!

A string of ferocious tennis games with vicious forehand and backhand volleys like Sharapova’s or Djokovic’s in boss’ condo last Friday marked the outset of the gala of the coming new lunar year. Other than the uninvited burning heat that came prematurely, nothing much has gestured the approaching Keong Hei Fatt Choy day. Let’s get an animation to greet the new year (since HKHor and YPTeoh also got) 2008, and a new look of my blog. I think it’s a year of auspiciousness. :D

My Wii's tennis character!

ps: Thanks to TAO’s most caring (for the oriental and western series filling up the boredom of his fellow colleagues) Mr KC Hor for searching high and low for his winter clothing to loan to me as the news of blizzards starts to caution me.

ps: Watch out for the green colours in this new look of my blog. Uncles and aunties in the offices advised so.

2008

It's 1st January of 2008. I think I should have a lot fo stories to tell you.

Nonsense

I keep getting grumbles on the prolix and wordy paragraphs in this blog. Sometimes you just have to embezzle your moods and swing them into some Narnia-like epics just to write. First, I don’t write frequently. Second, there is a slight difference between whether I couldn’t write it short or I couldn’t let myself to write it short. Short as in like, making jokes of Chua Soi Leg’s name.

Kidding. I just write it long because I write it long. I do write it short sometimes.

Over-year celebrations

I went to Singapore for another hastily planned (this time free accomodation) trip three days before the new year, returned to Penang 4 hours before 2008 overwhelmingly plunging into my life, spent counting down time in QE2 with the Tees and the Lims, after complaining to an officer about illegal "solicitation" of parking fees by some hovering rats of the society in front of his eyes. I then hosted TN for a night in Penang (but in Doggie's new apartment), before spending time sleeping, half-feverish and sore throat, in the First World hotel in Genting.

Pictures? Yeah of course, here

I met up with three old friends during this short period of time.

LAI FONG LUAN

I couldn't have forgotten the fish porridge after my lone-trip to the hospital, as much as I couldn't have forgotten what she forlornly told us about her first two melancholic weeks in Singapore. Being a sometimes-obstinate lady facing the paper-thin kindness of the people there, being a joker when good friends are around, being a human who always works towards being kind, yeah, you know she is going to be fine.

JENNY TEH

Cold lame joke is almost a synonym to the name. As busy as other Singaporeans, Malaysian roots are still there. Get married asap!

CHENG TEE EAN

Zoo is not the place for bitch, as Kalamazoo is not the place for this kampong girl. I do not know if being three years abroad has taken anything away from you. I suppose not, for some qualities are just not taken-able, always only leased away.

U2 asked

Have you come here for forgiveness
Have you come to raise the dead
Have you come here to play Jesus
To the lepers in your head

Figuring out what are the lepers in our heads is the trickiest part. For it takes times, it takes strength and it takes faith.

About Boxes and Boxers

It’s boxing day. Third one after the melancholic Indian Ocean Tsunami. What’s in your box to the needy?

I am going to write something long. I don’t have the ability to write like Kenny Sia, short and funny. I need long sentences to be a little, just a little funny, that if it’s bearably long for you.

**********************************************************

PRELUDE

Much ecstatic Mew Choo has been dwelling extendedly enough at the very first page of this virtual chronicle while I have gone astray for a string of celebrations and merriments…gathering, dinners, weddings, teambuilding, Christmas gift exchanges, working towards my second product launch.. bla bla…a cacophony of helpless indulgences in showing up at each and every of them by conscientiousness, by devotion, to complement or to be there for.

Nonetheless the last thing that will happen to this blog is to fall into desuetude. Not about the minute group of readers. It has probably become a leisure pursuit. When uninvited boredom looms, when a handful of trivial tasks for you to leave behind, when driving a car full of passengers makes you feel desolated, when opening the locks of your house is like eternity…

THE GOLDEN COMPASS

I caught the movie the Golden Compass, the first of the trilogy of His Dark Materials yesterday evening, one day after the undomesticated-due-to-youthfulness-or-emptiness-of-soul celebration with colour sprays fell unlawfully on the posh-due-to-fleeced-by-government-tax cars parked alongside the muddy-due-to-uncontrolled-and-deficiently-planned-land-reclamation gurney drive seaside. The movie started with the monologue stating that there are many universes and many Earths parallel to each other. Will you choose to just hop to the other not familiar ones, let’s just say something smaller than an Earth, if you have had a luxury to opt?

CHILIS

Earlier I had this meal in Chilis. The waitress at the front desk was serving and frowning as if I have just quarreled with her, the not low-waist skirt was wore as if it was, the feet were dragging the opened high-heel shoes as if they were the sandals she wears at home to go pee. When we were leaving the restaurant, the manager just walked past, barely made an eye contact and turned away. Astonishing! (Even the RM2.2 best Laksa in Penang (refer picture below) woman serves better than any of them inside!). Oh, they dont have uniform, all out a sudden an auntie, popping out from the kitchen, placed the food on your table.

IRENE CHAN

Earlier I picked Irene up from her in-laws’ place and had a meal at the over-parked Queensbay Mall. After years in the States, she was rather amazed by three pieces of not-so-tiny deep fried soft-shelled crabs at RM7.90 at my much-loved Sakae Sushi shop. We talked in Hagan Daaz after the meal as a compulsive retort from the seemingly rising yet unsettled racial and bribery issues lately.

BULLSHITS FROM JAN

Where on earth that you take exams, score better than the others yet you will be still fine if someone fared much worse than you are sent oversea to study Med while you’re not?
Where on earth that when a government-monitored new building cracked or has its roof collapsed cases are vaguely closed by an hour or two press conference with someone with real laughable slang and its gobbledygook-like explanation?
Where on earth that you scramble to get a house when it’s launched while some others get automatic 3% discounts?
Where on earth that you will see under scorching sun a squadron of white uniform officers look so contented and happy with a broad smile when stopping cars at a road block, when there is not even one to issue a summon to the big Mitsubishi that parked at the yellow-lined corner at a T-junction with no driver and understandably wallet inside the car, blocking drivers’ views and inviting accidents and honks in the morning?
Why do I fare better, and born here, but failed to get a scholarship nor an interview for my tertiary education, ending up paying taxes sending some doctors off on a space vacation before coming down to anticipate a Datukship?
Roads are bad but people are able to tolerate as many loopholes as the system has. Unsightly objects and ghostly neon cost probably hundred thousands of ringgits decorated the busy roundabout. People can’t seem to stop grumble yet few seems to be remedied. Off-shore black gold is vanishing, no big plans coming to boost competitiveness neither in skill specializations nor in tourism or services while manufacturing migration to the north is unstoppable.

CHINESE PROVERB

The Chinese said, if you just sit there and eat, the mountain (of food) is going to collapse and gone one day. Food, sarcastically, can be a long-worked amity besides definitely the tangible black gold.

Sui Yan'S FAMOUS LAST HUMOR

Just to grumble about some facts on a lazy Boxing Day (My beloved friend told me that it’s a day for boxers! :P (In the ring or under my jeans? Hahaha, sorry SY, but it’s funny mar~~~and guys she meant those in the rings :)) ). No hard feeling yeah. Too, to my mama country’s home boys.

********************************************

PICTURES AND ACTIVITIES

Earlier this month many functions and activities scrambled into my timetable like cars into the jam-packed and furious Penang Bridge entrance every working day.

Some brought a lot of fun: HY’s wedding, TAO teambuilding (I am the organizer, and you got to check out the video below!), WS birthday, bi-yearly personal treats from/to the operators, boss' promotion treat, back to university to visit, KL yearly xmas gatherings (all in this time! Got a keychain and a thumb drive, where three out of the five gifts are thumb drive) and of course some blokus and Cat5, Penang Xmas gift exchange (got small fan with strong wind!) Sakae Sushi treat, finally, from the losers (second from left, fourth from left), bought a pair of Nike shoes, made a powered sunglasses at only 5 bucks :))… bla bla…

Watch out for the FLYING YELLOWMAN!

Some are queuing: Going to Singapore for a year end leisurely vacation for myself (Not that I like Singapore, it’s just that there will be free accommodation in a 4-star hotel haha), going to Genting (WC you’d better be around me!), awaiting WC’s good echelon’s and KC’s star engineer of the month’s treats, and TANG TANG TANG TANG, co-sponsoring (with YK of course) the return of the Majestic Kampung Girl to Penang!

Married, and move North!

At Kim's Blink-Blink Gypsy Style Apartment

Took us 6 consecutive wins of 15-point game, before Ah Beng and Ah Zhun finally agreed to bet on a single game when I was just back from HK, trying to take advantage on my lethargy. Too bad, crawled back from 4-11 down. YC, we are just Kings of Comeback! hahahaa

HY's wedding and my bodyguards! Isn't it like posing at the Cannes?

Good food, good smile, good cowokers!

Oh I like these two stalls. Excellent food. And friendly owners. I think she wore a pair of sandals, but definitely walk in a more elegant way than the waitress in Chilis!

Try out this buffet in Tanjung Bunga. A comfortable, as in temperature, place for BBQ cum steamboat.

Thumb drive #3 owner

Dinky is happy with what she got!

Outback, not so good food, serious.

I won! yay!
(ps Keat, my colleague said you are CUTE. ??? huh???)
